What do we Mean by Universe is a Hologram?

It reifies itself. As reality.

The traditional approach of science in the study of consciousness is to assume it is a emergent property. For the most part this is correct. However, it ignores the idea of disembodied consciousness.

I don't have a clue what that means.

I'm inclined to think that way. Except that I don't think of consciousness as a property, at least not in the same sense as physical properties. I think of it more like how data in computer memory is reducible to things like magnetic domains, electrical currents or opto-electronics. (Hence, multiple realizability.)

I don't think that any of us is in a position to speak with authority about fundamental metaphysics.

To reify; make more concrete or real. - Google dictionary.

Edit: when I say the universe reifies itself from a hologram, I mean it reality-refines itself.

Each part working to achieve a singular output. I would have to agree. Since an electronic device or electrical current can transform energy the same way the human body can.

No, that is not correct. The reason I say I agree with it is because our bodies dictate our decisions, actions, posture and perceptions. This is proven by mind-altering drugs. These drugs can affect such aspects of our character. The body functions deterministically. Each moment is spontaneous. A new opportunity for the body to experience such things as joy, fresh perspectives and so on. Continuity is actually an illusion. Hence the world is not actually dull.
