"Mother cannot explain spooky 'ghost hand' in family holiday snap she believes harbours a tragic secret

Rhynnice Trelfa was with friends and family in Manchester in 2011 when they posed for a photo together

The 28-year-old was at the Dovestones Reservoir in Greenfield, where a number of people have passed away

Mr Trelfa is convinced a 'dismembered hand' can be seen pointing towards a man in the picture who later died"

Find the extra hand...

There is no extra hand. Apparently simple reasoning eludes some people.

I'm not sure what "pointing towards the man who later died" signifies, unless Mr Trelfa actually considered the hand resting on the woman's shoulder to be an extra appendage. (It seems to be the only one that could vaguely be construed as "pointing".) But obviously the Texas-shirted man is furnishing that extemity.

Both of the hands on the shoulders of the older man in black look like they belong to the same person (hidden behind him?). Despite it appearing that the boy in the striped shirt is supplying the farthest one on MiB's left shoulder.

The boy in the middle is only providing the hand on the Texas-shirted man's left shoulder, with his other arm extended downward. (There's a remote possibility it could be an empty sleeve, but above where the Texas-shirted man's hand is resting everything looks extendedly solid and not twisted backwards.)

In addition, the hands resting on the man in black are angled in one of the ways they would be if a hidden person was behind him reaching upward. The proximity of the wall might suggest discomfort squeezing in there if it was truly a narrow space between the bodies and the wall, but many countless individuals have tolerated similar.

The text in my above post refers to the photo in the link, not the photo in the post. There may be some confusion because of how I posted it. Or rather how the forum software simply adds new posts after your first post to the original post.

Afraid not. The "arm extended downward" is just an open jacket or hoodie. You can see something yellow on the lapel of both sides. So if the hand on the black shirt is a mystery, so is the one on the Texas shirt. Both actually belong to the kid in the middle.

So the photo in the post is completely meaningless? Or a test of priming, where the text gets people to see mysteries where none exist?

Regarding the photo in the link, why don't they show the other photo? "Also, another photo that was taken only seconds afterwards shows no sign of the hand."
Probably because it shows the girlfriend holding something in her left hand.

Actually it's one of 4 photos I posted or posted links to under the thread "Photos of extra body parts." WTF is meaningless about that bitch?

The middle boy's got a very gifted right arm, bending it under the older man's arm to reach all the way up to the latter's opposite shoulder while Texas-guy has his bearing down on top at the reaching behind origin point, with the end boy arm's thrown into the mix as another obstacle to potentially go over or under. All the while middle boy staring straightforward as if there's no exertion or strain in that direction. The limberness of youth, how much we all miss it eventually.

Yeah...and that sleeve looks just like the sleeve of the jacket he's wearing with Texas guy's hand draped downward over his shoulder. And the mysterious hand is at the wrong angle to be the boy's hand. It's definitely a software glitch in the Matrix. Maybe a crappy hand assignment algorithm.

Toward the bottom, the "sleeve" (or whatever garment part it is) has an empty-looking appearance when the image is magnified. But the way Texas-guy's paw rests on middle-boy's shoulder makes it seem awkward as heck that the latter's arm is going backwards and curving sideways and up. Still (as far as skeptic-context explanations go), if the forward and down direction is shooting blanks in terms of an arm being present, then the other is less deliberately deception-oriented than another person hiding behind man in black and reaching up. The similarity of the two hands resting on MiB's shoulders could be explained if end-boy and middle-boy are brothers and approximately the same age (i.e., young).
