SpaceX Live Space Launch Webcast Tomorrow

They are scheduled to launch a used Falcon 9 rocket carrying a used Dragon 1 supply capsule destined for the Space Station. The launch will be from Cape Canaveral tomorrow (Tuesday Dec 12) at 8:46 AM PST/ 11:46 AM EST/ 16:46 UTC. They should begin the webcast about an hour prior to launch. Hopefully it will include live views of the rocket's ascent, on-board views of its stage separation, flip maneuver and boost-back, reentry and landing burns, and its eventual pinpoint landing back at Cape Canaveral. (If all goes well.)

From the days of Walter Cronkite and millions of viewers simultaneously glued to only 3 broadcasting networks... To the thinly scattered, irregular hit and miss audience of the webcast.

Now they say it's on for 7:35 AM PST/10:35 EST/15:35 UTC for Friday Dec 15.

I don't know what's causing the scheduled launch date to be pushed back. Some kind of technical problem apparently.

The launch of an already used ('flight-proven' they call it) Falcon 9 booster carrying a used ('flight-proven') Dragon 1 capsule packed with supplies for the space station happened as planned this morning. The launch was flawless, the rapid 1-2-3-4 succession of MECO (main engine cut-off), stage separation, a 180 degreee flip-maneuver for the first-stage and main engine re-start for a boost-back burn returning the booster to Cape Canaveral were shown beautifully, and the now highly-experienced veteran first-stage once again made its pin-point landing in the middle of the Cape Canaveral landing pad (right in the center of the SpaceX 'X'!).

The whole thing can be replayed for your amazement and viewing enjoyment here.

I love it.

Now I want to see them try to fly the Falcon Heavy and begin manned launches with astronauts aboard (scheduled for next summer).
