Why We Should Look For Alien Megastructures Around Pulsars
http://gizmodo.com/why-we-should-look-fo...1796167129

EXCERPT: Some day in the far future, it’s possible our descendants will kick it up a notch and wrap the entire Sun in a massive solar-collecting shell known as a Dyson Sphere. It’s also possible that some advanced alien civilizations have already gone this route, which is why some SETI folks are on the lookout for these hypothetical objects. But a new study proposes that aliens are more likely to build megastructures around pulsars than stars—and importantly, we should be able to detect these objects from Earth using current technology....

Are Red Dwarf Exoplanets Really Habitable?
https://cosmosmagazine.com/space/red-dwa...bitability

EXCERPT: There are billions of red dwarf stars, leading some scientists to believe they may provide the energy needed to foster habitable planets. The recent discoveries of planets in the habitable zones of the TRAPPIST-1 and LHS 1140 systems have lent force to this hypothesis. But now, researchers are asking if these dwarfs are really as hospitable as they seem, or whether the intense flares that erupt from their surface might make life on any orbiting planet impossible....

Nasa discovers 10 new 'rocky' planets like Earth
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/scienc...97781.html

EXCERPT: Nasa has announced the discovery of 219 new suspected planets outside our solar system. The figure includes 10 that are “rocky” like Earth and which exist in their solar system's 'Goldilocks zone', neither too close to their star, and therefore too hot, nor too far away and too cold for liquid water to exist. The presence of water is seen as a key factor for the existence of life....

On the Nat Geo channel series "Year Million" they say by the time we are building a Dyson Sphere around our Sun we will have already uploaded our minds into a computerized virtual state where life is much more exciting without the suffering and death. The energy from the Dyson Sphere will be used to power the computers we exist inside of, and ofcourse robots will be doing all the construction and maintenance of the machines. At least up to the point that they become self-aware and just say "Fuck this" and turn off the computers. lol Realistically though it's hard to believe all humans will opt for a virtual reality especially after we have nanobots guaranteeing bodily youth and immortality as well as AI augmented brains generating any experience we can imagine. I'd hang around in physical reality having endless sexual adventures with beautiful genetically engineered beings and mystical mind melds with AI superartilects.
