A person's live presence should never be preempted by a cellphone message. The fact that cellphones have so effortlessly and uniformly crowded out the immediately physical person shows its truly addictive and mentally neurotic influence over time. Like a smoker who can't have a conversation without lighting up. I NEED this more than I need you. Yeah you do. Or at least have been convinced you do. Technology techologizes. Machines mechanize. And little by little we lose more of our humanity.

The strongest relationships will survive. The weakest will fail. It's natural. Seems like new ways to test love are being invented every day.

Any stats as to whether domestic violence has increased or lessened since cellphone advent?
