DON KENN GALLERY

BORN IN DENMARK 1978. I WRITE AND DIRECT TELEVISION SHOWS FOR KIDS. I HAVE A SET OF TWINS AND NOT MUCH TIME FOR ANYTHING. BUT WHEN I HAVE TIME I DRAW MONSTERDRAWINGS ON STICKY NOTES... IT IS A LITTLE WINDOW INTO A DIFFERENT WORLD, MADE ON OFFICE SUPPLIES.

Ought to historically call to mind the work of illustrators like Charles Addams and Edward Gorey. But for some reason I instead get flashes of the archetypal nature of fairy tales. Back when they were figurative devices instructing about the horrors of adult life or the savage ways of an untamed world in general.
