Captain Thomas Mantell, USAF. These were his last words as he closed in on a UFO in 1948. Minutes later his plane was to crash and he was to lose his life.

"Xglbbrt nkormiz blork!" Last words heard from time travel saucer pilot Grzlbeek Pkorndig before disappearing from 1948 following collision with USAF plane. We can only hope he's somewhere in time, safe and sound.

Condolences to the Mantells yet no one worries about the fate of the other pilot(s) involved. They could be a descendent of poor Mr Mantel trying to figure out what went wrong that day.

“A saucer flew right over (us), put down three landing gears, and landed out on the dry lakebed. (The cameramen) went out there with their cameras toward the UFO…. I had chance to hold (the film) up to the window. Good close-up shots. There was no doubt in my mind that it was made someplace other than on this earth.”
Colonel Gordon Cooper, Mercury and Gemini Astronaut describing an incident he witnessed during the 1960’s during a videotaped interview for the Disclosure
 Program.

The obvious question is: where are the photos so we can all take a look? It's just unbelievably coincidental that despite all the modern technology that we're still waiting for those first definitive shots. I'd love to see this sighting confirmed, just show us. This shouldn't be difficult.

This is a quote thread not a "here's a ufo photo...what's that?...you say its fake?" thread.

Shucks...you don't want to quote me? How about my friend ?
After I give lectures-on almost any subject-I am often asked, "Do you believe in UFOs?" I'm always struck by how the question is phrased, the suggestion that this is a matter of belief and not evidence. I'm almost never asked, "How good is the evidence that UFOs are alien spaceships?" It takes alot more faith to say all the thousands of accounts of ufos are made up and the tens of thousands of photos are fake. I wish I had that sort of faith. I'd believe anything then.

No one is saying all UFO accounts are made up.

"I'm not for women in any job. I don't want any of them around. Thank God we don't have any in the cabinet.'' —President Richard Nixon in a taped 1971 conversation with his chief of staff, in which he discussed the political advantages of nominating a woman to the Supreme Court, despite the fact that he personally regarded women as too "erratic" and "emotional"

When you really know the truth of something, you won't have to hold onto it with some clenched act of believing in it. You won't have to argue for it. As if it's truth depended upon you at all. No, you will simply resign yourself to such and such being so. Like water existing, or the moon. Just knowing it to be so, and being peacefully at ease with it.---M.R.
