Depression is unmistakeable when it comes on. It is paralyzing, impactful, and "not you". Anxiety otoh is hard to detect. It wears a thousand disguises. It weaves itself inconspicuously into the fabric of everyday living. It can be an unconscious tension in your jaw. It can be picking at your skull. It can be an obsessive thought. It can be busy-ness. It can be insomnia, or restlessness, or queasiness, or a sense of undefinable dread or angst. Here's a good video about that:
