What Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro did is just typical Disney trying to save its image. We all know that it's a big joke because the suspension is nothing more than a 10-day vacation.
Now, the main reason why Josh made this call that was a unanimous decision between the Disney board members is that there was just too much antagonism that Sunny was bringing onto the set days after she made that horrifying comment. It turns out that the suspension had more to do with the fact that she was arguing with her co-hosts Joy, Whoopi, Alyssa, Anna, and Sarah backstage multiple times during the tapings and was creating adverse environments.
That was the deal breaker for Josh D'Amaro to do something. And already many known viewers and critics are labeling this as a poor form of punishment that won't really teach Sunny Hostin any level of discipline at all in the long run.
And this has been done before many times by Josh. It was also done many times by Bob Iger. And I've said this once, but I'll say it again. These suspensions are a complete joke. They're absolutely pathetic. It is nothing more than a CEO propping up this facade that they are taking some level of responsibility or showing some level of accountability. And it's just not working at all.
