Voronezh is an oblast (province) capital about 600 km (370 mi) south of Moscow. Its population of about one million (14th largest city in Russia) is more than 90% ethnic Russian. It's about 2/3'ds Christian (overwhelmingly Russian Orthodox) while the next two largest religious groups are 22% "spiritual but not religious" (recognized by the Russian census and a very popular religious identity in Russia) and 6% flat-out atheist.
