VIDEO EXCERPT (Zia Yusuf): Well, I'm here because I saw the extraordinary footage, as your viewers would have done, of 60,000 Moroccan men storming an undefended border into European territory, specifically Spanish territory. Then we saw the footage of some of these men marauding through town, looting shops, and terrorizing local residents. One of them admitting that they're wanted for murder in their home country.

And what we're seeing now is, as you said, a lot of them are leaving, but I've already spoken to them, a number of them here, who say they started their journey from Morocco with the express intention of coming to Britain. And why do they want to come to Britain? It's because we basically lay out a food bank for the whole world.

And I want to say one other thing. When people saw 60,000 men storm a beach like that, it creates global attention. That's why Spain has effectively militarized its border. And that's what we're seeing right now. Yes, it has. And of course, that's what loads of people will be shouting at their television.

Saying, "Well, what about Britain? Can they not sort of protect their borders? Can they not do exactly what Spain's done here and send them back?"

Well, look, even more important than that, that's what 60,000 looked like arriving on a single day. That's why it's so striking. [...] We know murderers have been coming across the channel. We know terrorists have not only come across the channel but have also tried to commit terrorist atrocities in Britain.

Britain needs to wake up. If we do not secure our borders, then we are going to see scenes like the ones that we have seen become sadly increasingly common.

Many large peaceful Spanish demonstrations in favor of Ceuta took place all over Spain on Wednesday Sept 2, calling for the resignation of Spain's ruling socialist government. They were organized by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, an organization of local governments. September 2 was chosen because it's Ceuta's local holiday. El Mundo reports that the crowd in Madrid was about 150,000. Reportedly the demonstrations took place in 1,996 locations in Spain, including some socialist strongholds.

VIDEO EXCERPTS: Well, absolute mayhem and disgust in Spain. [...] You're seeing now a Spanish government in total chaos, because what's now come out, what's now being alleged, what we're now seeing from a police report, a leaked report in Spain, is the claim that the Moroccan authorities engineered that migrant influx into Ceuta. And that actually what was going on here was monitored by Moroccan agents on the ground. That's the allegation.

The purpose of this was basically to try and boost Morocco's territorial claims. To test the waters at a time where the government in Madrid was perceived to be very weak. The objective was to violate the border under the guise of a migratory crisis.

Now we know that actually some people reached mainland Spain. We know despite some of the mainstream media narrative -- that everyone was immediately pushed out -- that many thousands actually remained in Ceuta for a significant period of time.

And we also know that the Spanish people are absolutely furious about what has been going on in their country, because of course we saw that amnesty, illegal migrant amnesty. And then the migrant surge in Ceuta and the Spanish government is now facing massive protests. There tens of thousands of people were out in Madrid, protests racross the country...

EXCERPTS: On Wednesday a police report said Moroccan security forces showed "total permissiveness" during the unprecedented influx, days after Sánchez insisted Morocco was not responsible. Senior police officers have also stressed the report does not directly attribute what happened to the Moroccan government. [...] The police report claimed that the Moroccan police deployment around the border "was clearly smaller than usual" and cited migrants who spoke of a "passive attitude" as the crossings happened.

Vox leader Santiago Abascal meanwhile said Sánchez was "at the service, like a lackey, of the Moroccan regime".

"The response has been inadequate, late and, to top it all, has involved a complete dereliction of duty on the part of the government," 45-year-old teacher David Hernandez told Reuters. "We cannot be second-class citizens, and our border must not be sidelined."
