VIDEO EXCERPTS: A man ran amok with a knife in Edinburgh a few days ago, apparently targeting Muslims. Here he is being arrested. I mean, obviously this is terrible. People should never resort to violence like this.
But if you've got concerns about mass immigration or multiculturalism or grooming gangs, you've got to engage peacefully with your elected representatives and appropriate authorities. I'm sure they'll listen to you. And you've also got to vote for a party that will reduce immigration and deal with these issues. I'm sure any moment now voting is about to start working.
But it was interesting to notice how differently this attack was treated to the usual mass stabbing attack. The papers didn't run pictures of the attacker as a 9-year-old boy or describe him as a quiet choir boy. There were no calls for us to not look back in anger or for this incident not to be used to create division. There were no calls for people not to use this instant to stir up hatred of right-wing British people or white people. There were no newspaper articles painting right-wing British people as the real victims who are bracing for a rise in anti-white, anti-rightwing violence.
Kier Starmer said, "Absolutely appalling. No one should face violence in our streets. The suspect appears to be motivated by anti-Muslim hatred. I will not tolerate this..."
[...] Where are Kier Starmer's usual calls not to speculate on the motive of the attack to not exploit the attack for political gain and immigrants ordered us to stand with immigrants?
John Swinney, the first minister of Scotland. He said, "I'm deeply concerned by these incidents. There is no place for violence, racism or intolerance in our country. I met community groups last week to assure them of the strong support of the government."
So I replied, "I'm really worried about the rise of phobia and the backlash against innocent white people. many of whom are feeling very marginalized and unsafe following this incident. Can you make a public statement that you stand with the white community at this difficult time and that white people are the community of peace?"
I couldn't find any mention by John Swinney of another knife attack in Edinburgh. Remember this man ran amok in Edinburgh (March 2), the same city, stabbing people and we heard nothing more about it? No reflection on whether we whether we bring people with in with negative attitudes towards us. I don't think it was even recorded as a terror attack.
Besides, despite it pretty closely matching other terror attacks and the man being from a from an area of the world where there's a lot of Islamism, why is it that when a Muslim attacks British people, the issue is racist far-right Islamophobia? And when a British man attacks Muslims, the issue is also racist far-right Islamophobia.
And why is it that if Muslims don't feel safe in Britain, that's because we're racist? But if we don't feel safe in Britain, that's also because we're racist. Man, somebody make it make sense.
We must stand with new Scots in the face of division and hate. So this woman is from the Scottish Nationalist Party, which is the same party who tried to put trans women in female prisons. And the term new Scots is a lot like the term trans women. And that it doesn't really matter what's written on a bit of paper. We all know what you really are. Transwomen means not really a woman, and new Scots means not really Scottish...
