Australian polling over the last 12 months: the rapidly rising orange line is the rather Trumpish populist One Nation Party. The news that has Australia all excited (and the establishment petrified) is that the ONP has just passed the ruling Australian Labour Party to become the most popular political party down under. Australia's left-woke Australian Labour Party and the ostensibly 'conservative' but really soft-left (like the British 'Conservatives') Liberal/National Party are both declining. The Greens (the farthest left party like in Europe) is flat-lining at about 11 or 12% and might not win any parliamentary seats at all.

I guess that the Australian establishment's hope is that this populist surge won't last, since the next federal parliamentary elections aren't scheduled until 2028.
