Louise Thompson says she believes the Artemis II space mission was a 'wild hoax' as she questions snaps of the astronauts' historic return to Earth

INTRO: Louise Thompson has revealed she believes the historic Artemis II space mission was a 'wild hoax,' despite the entire voyage being livestreamed online.

On Friday, NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover and Christina Koch, along with Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, finished a ten-day mission that carried them around the moon and farther than any human had ever travelled into space before.

The team safely touched down in the Pacific Ocean after a smooth return to Earth, with many fans praising the awe-inspiring moment.

Louise has now taken to Instagram Stories to question whether the mission truly took place

She also questioned the legitimacy of some of the snaps of the splashdown, no doubt fuelling those who have questioned the 1969 moon landing and whether it was also a hoax.

Louise is currently away on a weekend retreat with her fiancé Ryan Libbey and their son Leo, as well as her brother Sam Thompson and his girlfriend Talitha Balinska.

She wrote: 'I just had a one hour nap and it was delicious. I happened to see something about the Artemis space mission when I woke up, and I can't help but think that it's all a wild hoax.

'I'm sorry but photos of part of the rocket landing in the Pacific just look a little,' followed by a confused emoji.' (MORE - details)

Not even the article could trouble itself to tell us who Louise Thompson is. I'm not about to google her either. Too many nobodies nowadays thinking they are somebody.

British reality TV personality according to the Wikipedia link around her name. As Secular Sanity indirectly highlighted elsewhere, the Moon Hoax conspiracy culture is at it in all kinds of ways, including generating fake AI images of astronauts hanging in front of green backgrounds on studio stages.

As social media has abundantly demonstrated, just because something CAN be doubted doesn't mean it SHOULD be doubted.

I agree with MR about something! Owww! My head is going to explode!

I've never heard of Louise Thompson. (Some kind of British television personality. Definitely not a rocket scientist.)

(That said, I definitely think that I'm somebody. Maybe not a person others should listen to, but... somebody.)
