Restraint is not weakness. Belief in God, itself (even without an actual God), is beneficial. Not only does it teach you true empathy and objectivity, it has objective benefits for happiness, life satisfaction, and longevity.

You don't believe in a God. How's that working out for you?

Effectually it is exactly the same. He sits there and does nothing. What a waste of all that power and intelligence.

Agency requires God's restraint.
Would you similarly call a man who doesn't use his gun a "waste of all that power"? Or would you understand the reasons for his restraint?

Quote:Agency requires God's restraint.

Agency requires action not inaction. You're God is as much a loser as you are.

And God intervening would necessarily limit your action... hence his restraint.
As usual, you have zero answer for the rest of that post. Too much cognitive dissonance.

Doing nothing accomplishes nothing. A totally useless deity.

Yet you can't even manage to address most my arguments. 9_9

How's that working out for you? That niggling in the back of your mind that tells you to desperately avoid arguments you cannot answer while hoping to maintain any consistency in your worldview.

You're the idiot claiming to believe in a God who can't do anything. Really nothing more to say to that.

If only you understood the simple difference between "can't" and "doesn't." 9_9

I notice you're still desperately avoiding the question. Don't answer me, but you really owe one to yourself.

Either your God can but won't, which means he is not good, or wants to but can't, which means he is impotent. Take your pick. The universe does not behave as if there is a good or powerful God behind it all.
