"Presence is a unique film that flew under everyone's radar after it premiered at Sundance in 2024. This Steven Soderbergh movie then became a sudden streaming hit when it hit Hulu in June 2025. It only enjoyed temporary success and certainly deserves more attention. With a powerful story and experimental cinematography, Presence is an interesting take on haunted house narratives that manages to achieve the difficult feat of reinventing horror. It's a slow-burning suspense that cleverly exposes and hides the source of fear at the same time."

It seems like I've encountered "from the ghost's point of view" before. But it was probably in some comedy or one of those DUST-type short films.

As expected, the "Presence" on Tubi TV is a low-ranked movie from 2022. Years ago, Pluto TV carried even high-rated independent films pretty fast (as long as they did poorly at the box office). But that quickness is a thing of the past now.

Might've been the 2017 film "A Ghost Story" starring Rooney Mara and Casey Affleck. A surprisingly good film for being told from a ghost's perspective and made for only $100,000. Not really horror though. More like a spiritual meditation on death and letting go. Rooney's pie eating scene has to be seen to be believed. lol
