I'm currently looking at Ultrasound Detecting. Rather than buying off a shelf, I'm considering a home project in the form of something built through using Arduino.
Currently at the planning phase to identify the actual scope of what it is I'm attempting to do and what parts to do it with.
I'm thinking of building a detector that can look for triangulated ultrasound (A bit like viewing a hologram, where if you move to one side or the other, your picture doesn't show) So I'll likely need to network multiple detectors together (Thus a scalable system where adding nodes increases it's capacity.)
The reason for this is because Ultrasound is unfortunately being utilised in far greater occurrences and some of those occurrences are clearly a violation of Liberty and Law. Rather than getting into an argument about if it's just a delusional conspiracy, it makes far more sense to have a detector system do the speaking as it will show if there is any clear evidence of such activities being applied.
In the future I would suggest every home has a detector much like every home with gas piped in it needs a monoxide detector. Currently though it's still something anorak to do.
I will hopefully put some diagrams up in the near future if the project goes ahead (although I'm juggling some life stuff at the same time) If anyone pips me to the post on building one, feel free to share.
