Nobody led anybody astray during covid, except Trump who was saying it would just go away and that injecting bleach might be an effective cure for it. Between listening to the experts or listening to morons, always go with the experts.

Trump suggested using cleaners to treat Covid on live TV. Everybody heard him say it. That's why there was an outbreak afterwards of people ingesting disinfectants. Trump lied and said he was just being sarcastic. He was not. This is why we shouldn't give stupid people nationwide megaphones..

It wouldn’t be through injection. We’re talking about through almost a cleaning, sterilization of an area. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t work. But it certainly has a big effect if it’s on a stationary object.

Pretty cut n dried. He said it and then tried to lie that he was being sarcastic. That means even he admits he said it. And everyone watching TV heard him say it. Denying it is just stupid.

Clearly the question is rhetorical as he doesn't wait for an answer and goes on to suggest injecting it as a possible treatment:

Here we see Trump trying to walk back his injection suggestion, but he still suggests using cleaners somehow on the body. But the damage was done despite his lies. He's a scientifically illiterate moron. Deal with it.
