"Weapons" (cinema hobbies)

Apparently this is the #1 film this weekend (or something), with critics also giving it a thumbs up.

Mention it primarily because Julia Garner is in it, whose character in "Ozark" was the unofficial if not outright official favorite of the series. She also played the Silver Surfer in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. But you know how those comic book roles go, and the world has had too much of Pedro Pascal's omnipresence in one movie and TV show after another. ("He's everywhere, he's everywhere!")

Has that paranoiac body-snatcher feel to it, like "who is our neighbor really?" A timely social commentary that critics tend to gobble up. Will probably catch it when it streams.

Finally saw it. Deserved the #1 spot for at least that weekend. Arranged in a way that makes a ___ ___ of trouble seem interesting. Glad that Cregger had to replace much of the original cast. Can't imagine Pascal being in place of Brolin or Reinsve being in place of Garner.
