In life, we are faced with many challenges. A hockey player for the Panthers once said that "Belief is a dangerous thing". Those who face their fears courageously are believers in God. It is only because of the belief in the after-life that we gain the courage to overcome our fear of death. There comes fearlessness when we are confident that we do not face the horrors of oblivion. Strength in the face of adversity comes with belief.

I think you are sorely mistaken about belief and the significance of its role in reality. Every neuron that fires is in actuality real. Probably even more than material existence itself. According to recent science consciousness is fundamental. Not only in influencing and guiding our behavior but in influencing the very fabric of reality.

There is absolutely no doubt that we live in a simulation. Once God merely relied on faith to be kept alive, now we have removed all doubt that He is real. All thanks to science, logic and mathematics, which I hold as the supreme dictator of truth. Empiricism falling only second to those. That is how I can confidently claim that all atheists and disbelievers are clueless about the nature of reality. I single-handedly aided science in this magnificent endeavour we call God.

If you're displaying your high intelligence (something useless, as your rationalism and pride is all too familiar) as a way of belittling me, I'm afraid you've fallen short of your goal. The very attempt to get to the heart of the matter (in any endeavor) and to reveal the truth (in any endeavor) is enough to suggest a deity of the highest order. I am as sure of God's existence as the shortest distance between A and B must be a straight line. As it is reinforced by logic.
