Langan presumes far too much about the nature of reality. However he makes reasonable attempts at logic.

The CTMU begins with an ontological premise. Namely that reality contains all and only that which exists. It thus leads to the metaphysical implications of reality. A noble purpose indeed, as it has the power to unite humanity. His intention is no less than a proof for the existence of an all-powerful deity. It faces the challenge head on with pure logic. Rejecting the illusion of materialism.

Such a pantheistic view would explain a lot of paranormal phenomenon that the privileged few have witnessed. Including myself. This unifying reality leaves no room for doubt. Our spiritual essences consist of the ineffable void. Thus it provides a new view to escape the rigid confines of ignorance.

Your statements are reflective of a coy attempt to undermine the existence of God.

God has been promoted to mathematical fact by Langan and I. Just because God eludes mankind's attempts to find Him does not negate His existence. If you're familiar with the snake swallowing his tail (uroboros) you would accept the possibility of the alpha and omega, beginning and end. 

Beyond our ordinary world is another dimension. That is where the ghosts of the departed and the demons exist. Including the omnipotent deity.

In the words of Langan; that is where the true dynamics of reality lies. To further support my point - proving the existence of God would unite humanity.

I'd also like to add that human beings have a metaphysical identity which is immortal.



Many of us are clueless as to this very possibility because we fail to interpret the deeper meaning of reality. This is an inescapable fact that many have to come to terms with.



Only an extremely sophisticated form of logic, rarely empiricism (unless one is chosen), can lead one to this conclusion. We are often baffled by the underlying mechanics of reality. However, if we accept the possibility of higher dimensional beings and other potentially supernatural phenomenon, we may come one step closer to the truth.

I'm certainly not adverse to higher dimensions. In fact I suspect they do exist and contain inhabitants every bit as if not vastly more intelligent and varied as our own. It's just that the concept of a God carries a lot of old baggage for me, being pounded into my head from a Baptist pulpit since I was like 3. If there is such an entity, I have concluded it's something like a universal Mind or consciousness that guides and orders events towards the Good and the Novel. And sometimes even the miraculous.
