Gwynne is now a Billionaire

Gwynne Shotwell, President and COO of SpaceX, owns 0.3% of the company. Privately held SpaceX was last valued at $350 billion in December 2024.

Which would put the value of Gwynne's share at $1.05 billion. All self-made.

I'd say that given the work she has put into the company, it's well deserved.

If SpaceX really does IPO with a valuation of $1.75 trillion, as some are speculating it might, that would make Gwynne worth $5.25 billion.

In the meantime, Gwynne has made the cover of next weeks Time magazine. Here she is in the nosecone hall in the Starfactory at Starbase.
