Jeffery Kripal's TED talk ("Authors of the Impossible")

I really like Kripal's careful, wide-ranging and nuanced approach to the paranormal or the miraculous, backed up with years of scholarship and first hand research into these kinds of very personal and often not talked about experiences. He proposes that it's the nature of these kinds of phenomena to symbolically point to something mythical or storylike about ourselves and to the unitary nature of consciousness with physical reality.
