DOGE should be DODGE:

The Department of Draconian Government Efficiency, also happens to be the thing you do if you're not wanting to deal with things head on or legitimately.

Asking people to actually work while they're on the job is "draconian?"
Man, the meaning of words has really eroded.

If I had been working for a company for 10 years and some asshole billionaire tycoon came in and demanded a list of 5 things I did last week or get fired, I'd just make something up. He wouldn't know any better and he certainly doesn't deserve any time or effort on my part at all.

Meanwhile:

"Twenty-one employees resigned from the Department of Government Efficiency, stating that “we will not lend our expertise to carry out or legitimize DOGE’s actions,” according to a letter sent to White House chief of staff Susie Wiles Tuesday.

The civil service employees, housed within the United States Digital Service — renamed the United States DOGE Service once Elon Musk took charge — stated in the letter obtained by POLITICO that “we swore to serve the American people and uphold our oath to the Constitution across presidential administrations. However, it has become clear that we can no longer honor those commitments at the United States DOGE Service.”

That's the whole point. You would make up something... if you at least regularly checked your email. Good way to find out whose not even doing that much.

The myriad of 'NGOs' they fund seem to have often served as "cut-outs", as plausible deniability fronts, for the CIA.

At her briefing today, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said:

“I was made aware of funding from USAID to Media Outlets…including Politico…who I know has a seat in this room. The $8M you receive ends today. The DOGE Team is cancelling those payments now…”

Since then, USAID has ceased to be an independent agency like NASA or the CIA, and has been made subordinate to the State Department. And Secretary of State Marco Rubio has ordered 83% of USAID's programs halted.

Well yesterday Tuesday March 11, USAID's acting administrator (a Biden holdover) instructed USAID staff to destroy all documents relating to what the agency has been doing for years previous. (Subverting governments, interfering in elections, promoting media bias and censorship here and abroad...)

People are calling for the Department of Justice to issue arrest warrants for destruction of public records that could be vital evidence of massive scale deep-state corruption.

Here's what the White House Deputy Press Secretary says:

"The USAID building will soon be occupied by CBP.

This was sent to roughly three dozen employees. The documents involved were old, mostly courtesy content (content from other agencies), and the originals still exist on classified computer systems.

More fake news hysteria!"

Yesterday, the entire staff of the US Department of Education were told to leave their building in Washington DC. And today, the Secretary of Education announced a more than 50% reduction in force. Of the 4,133 DoEd workers in DC, 2,183 are being laid off. The Department will continue to perform all tasks assigned to it by Congressional legislation, such as administering student loans and Pell grants. All laid off employees will receive pay through June, plus their retirement contributions etc.

Before people start getting hysterical, we need to remember that the federal DoEd doesn't operate any schools of its own. In the United States, education is supposed to be a state function. But since the middle of the 20th century, the DoEd has collected huge sums of federal tax dollars ($79.1 billion in 2024), and then redistributed those funds back to the states with no end of conditions and strings attached, effectively giving Washington DC control over public education nationwide. The idea now is to simply return all that money to the states in block grants based on population and let the states manage public education as each of them sees fit.

We are all supposed to "celebrate diversity", right? So let the states try different things and see what works best. As things stand, we know what doesn't work. The US spends more per pupil than most other countries, while our students' performance in math and science is well below the competition. What we have succeeded in doing is creating lots of schools with more administrators than teachers.

Elon Musk on DOGE efforts to cut government waste
https://youtu.be/T6DiMIJIvYw

VIDEO EXCERPTS: . . . The Biden administration estimated government fraud to be half a trillion. So that's not a Trump administration thing, that's a Biden administration thing.

June 14, 2023: "Data gathered from numerous government organisations revealed a worrying tendency of budgetary mismanagement, with at least $528 billion wrongly handed out. [...] The audit’s conclusions about more than $500 billion in erroneous payments made in the first two years of the Biden administration raise questions about the capacity of the government to adequately handle tax dollars."

March 26, 2024: The federal government reported an estimated $236 billion in “improper payments” during the most recently completed fiscal year (FY 2023) [...] Payment errors are a long-standing issue for the federal government. Over the last 20 fiscal years, it has made an estimated $2.7 trillion in such improper payments.

So all we're trying to do is get that number down to much smaller figure, save money for the American taxpayer and stop money being spent on things that very few taxpayers would agree make sense.

Transgender animal surgeries. Why are American tax dollars being spent on those? And the President has gone through a long list of absurd things.

20 million people dead marked as alive in social security data base. 100 million in loans given to people 11 and under. These must be very enterprising 8 year-olds.

LARRY: Very smart ones.

Yes, enormous number of people marked alive that are 160. He didn't know the country was that healthy.

[...] I just don't want America to go bankrupt. [...] What we're trying to defeat here is the rule of the bureaucracy, and go back to will of the people.

The bureaucracy is overwhelmingly Democrat. Washington DC voted 92.5% for Kamala [to protect itself]. So there's overwhelmingly a deep Blue situation [inside the beltway]...
