Watched the 1988 film "Cinema Paradiso" last nite. A wonderful depiction of a young boy growing up in a small Italian town during WWII with the projectionist of the local cinema. The film creates a strong sense of love and nostalgia for people and places of another time and an endearing affection for the magic of movies themselves. Italian with subtitles..
