Well, it can't be the same team it was 20 years ago as all of its players have been replaced. Even its coaches and owners are probably replaced. So what team? Well the team with the same name/mascot, right? But even that gets changed sometimes. 14 NFL teams have changed their names/mascots over the years. Then what about the city they represent? That too changes sometimes. 14 teams in the NFL have moved to other cities.

If you were once a Houston Oilers fan, what happened to your team? The team relocated from Houston to Tennessee in 1997 and played as the Tennessee Oilers for two years before the team changed its name to the Titans before the 1999 season.

Presumably the Houston Texans. I don't know if there's even a museum devoted to the Oilers, but I suppose some of the old players and coaches have been inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
