I Want This!

It's a Spot-style robodog fitted with a flamethrower!

Reportedly, the manufacturer will sell you one for $9,420! That's cheaper than a Boston Dynamics Spot, without a flamethrower.

It even has a laser sight, which seems a little pointless with a flamethrower, but you could probably attach a rifle or shotgun to its back without much difficulty.

LOL! You'd have alot of fun with that in California. It's almost wildfire season again.

Would be better with a fire extinguisher on it's back in that instance.

Actually, I think that its intended market is firefighters like CalFire who fight brush fires by lighting back-fires. That can be exceedingly dangerous when a wind-driven fire is rapidly approaching. So better to send out robots to take that risk.

I'll add that might explain the purpose of the laser sight, because blowing smoke can reduce visibility to near zero.
