EXCERPT: Elongated skulls of ancient people like the Peruvians have long been a source of mystery and fascination [...But there's a...] website [...where...] the conclusions drawn by the author’s observations [...] make little sense. The author of the post concludes, “Given that there are at least two mummies containing foetuses with elongated skulls, in addition to hundreds of infant and children with elongated crania, a priority task for the academic community would be to identify the physical location of the mummies and proceed to DNA analysis…”

[...] the conclusions are based largely on evidence that doesn’t exist (the missing fetus mummies). [...] This [...] is a hallmark of pseudoarchaeological approaches to evidence. Whenever we see heavy reference made to physical evidence that is no longer available (ostensibly because it is either lost or being suppressed by “mainstream” archaeologists), then a red flag should be thrown down. Infants with cranial deformation are easily explained -- their parents bound their heads [..."mechanical deformation practices that actually still go on in some societies even today"... ] Nothing to explain.

[...] Clearly, what the author is suggesting is that some other species is the reason for elongated skulls in human populations [...] What would be a more parsimonious explanation for elongated infant skulls? Artificial cranial deformation by parents in societies for which we have physical evidence that it was done [...] or that homo sapiens mated with another species that had naturally elongated heads?

They released video of a speech given by presidential candidate Ben Carson this week expressing his belief that the pyramids were built by Joseph to store grain. This is the type of institutionally-enforced ignorance that comes from being in the SDA church. Excitement over Noah's Ark being buried on Mt Ararat. A literal intepretation of the earth and all its lifeforms created in 7 days. Prophetess Ellen G. White's warnings against the health hazards of masturbation, breathing the night air, eating pork, and drinking liquids while eating. And the soon coming downfall of the U.S. govt as it tries to legislate Sunday as a mandatory day of worship. This mental inability to critically evaluate patently insane notions like these makes Carson totally disqualified to run our country. There's no way I'd let anyone this dumb anywhere near the red button. Go Hillary go!

Experience-wise (but not TOO seasoned), I wish she had been the one that had emerged on top in the Dem primaries of 2008. Instead everything went htraE (Bizarro Earth order). No candidate should still be having to match or surpass Reagan's age yet again until at least transhuman cyborg-hood and mind uploads are common for VIPs, elite professionals, and the wealthy. That especially includes Trump at 69 (just in case the damned really are enjoying cryogenic conditions down under).

I was an avid Hillary fan for 2008 until that annoying newcomer Barack WHO? took over. I hope Hillary really wants to do this. She'll be in for the long haul, serving for 8 years unless something really major happens affecting her administration. I like the idea of a woman president. I'd like to see wage inequality among women get addressed and reproductive rights protected more. But I also think Hillary is just an affable, smart and cultured person, unlike GW who was an embarrassment before the world.
