Despite blurring vision, bad back, sore neck etc I find sitting in front of computer a very relaxing thing. Every year my doc asks me to record a log of my blood pressure readings. Normally I do this while I'm calm and collected while plunked in a chair somewhere. Now I'm a whitecoat syndrome type of guy and even taking my own BP makes me uncomfortable. So this year, quite by accident, I took a reading while parked in front of pc monitor and results were approx 10 units below my previous 3 days results. Since then nothing has changed and the readings are all quite good. Is there something going on?
Tough to find an article stating time in front of pc is relaxing so is it just me finding my comfort zone? Heard somewhere that BP should be taken while lying down but doesn't work for me. Not sure why my readings are better while in front of pc or whether it's indicative of being truly relaxed.
