By becoming women themselves (legally or physically/both), these males make social justice work for them. The mainstream feminists accept the turnabout and fall complacently into line. And if the radical or authentic ones complain about it, they get condemned as TERFs. Especially when there's only a mere statutory decree that a guy is now a woman (without a body transition), it's a disparaging, backhand way of saying that "female status" was only superficial or never substantively real to begin with.

NORWAY: Male student changes “Gender” to gain admission to esteemed NTNU program which prioritized female applicants

EXCERPTS: A male student in Norway took advantage of the nation’s lenient gender self-identification laws to gain admission to the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). The student said changing his gender for the purposes of gaining extra admission points was “about as easy as switching mobile plans.”

Despite the revelation, NTNU’s Faculty of Economics Dean Monica Rolfsen spoke to Khrono and said she had no intention of following up on the matter. Rolfsen maintained that the gender change was legitimate, and that the school has no place to intervene. “What kind of gender the student has and whether a student changes gender, and why, we really have nothing to do with that. It is a private matter,” she explained.

In a lengthy response to the video, in which Thieme blasted Gaines, she also tweeted: 'Hey, want to know one of my all time excellent parenting ideas?
'Let. Little. Children. See. Penises. And. Vulvas. Of. Various. Ages. And. Sizes. In. A. Casual. Normalized. Totally. Safe. Way.'
She continued: 'The world will thank you for it. And so will those children when they grow up.'
Thieme also hit back at Gaines who has become a leading voice against the inclusion of transgender athletes in women's sports. Gaines had competed after tying for fifth against controversial trans swimmer Lia Thomas at last year's NCAA championship.

Her thread continued: 'Teenage girl on the swim team sees or claims to have seen a trans person in the nude in the women’s changeroom. Her anti-trans parent or parents kick into high gear. They lean on coaches: Tell trans folk to change elsewhere. Coach says, no, we can’t, that’s discriminatory. They lean on the club admin: Send a warning message to all members that trans folk are using these facilities. Admin says, hell no, that’s crazy and would be very wrong.'
