Super Bowl LVII |
Chiefs wear eagle feathers in their headdresses. That's the extent of my sports prognostication prowess.
Before game start the NFL was virtue signalling out of their mind. Native Americans, Black singers and coin tossers, an all woman jet fighter fly over and more but they have no answer for Chiefs’ fans version of Tomahawk Chop. All they can muster is to have announcers not mention it. There might have been more but I didn’t watch until just minutes before game time.
Though they tied it again, looks like the Eagles will ultimately sink because they cared more about ball control possession time and settling for two or three field goals rather than scoring touchdowns.
I didn't watch the first half or the halftime show. And I muted the ads.
But I did tune in about midway through the third quarter and discovered that purely in football terms, it was one of the best superbowls that I remember seeing. Very competitive and the outcome was in doubt until the last seconds. I have to say that I was cheering for the Chiefs and was glad they won. |
