Synchronicity and topics

I have experienced in my own life the peculiar tendency of some topics soliciting certain synchronicitous events more than others. The subject of the paranormal is one of them. Just thinking and researching this subject can provoke coincidences in the random noise of one's daily life. The topics of magick, the 4 elements, destiny, religion, symbols, and synchronicity can also do this. Here is an article by that renegade of paranormalist research Nick Redfern about some disturbing "coincidences" when exploring the topic of Men in Black for his books. The coincidences are reported even for those who just read his books. These seem more than can be chalked up to confirmation bias:

If statistically reliable patterns fall out of the cosmic process, to the extent that even scientists want to generalize them as regulating laws and rules, then surely there are medium stages between that and any fully "motif"-resistant cases of randomness. While the merely psychologically associable events are too irregular and unpredictable for conventional causal or nomological classification, they can nevertheless seem as if a "higher principle" has temporarily intruded upon one's life during their short-lived (or occasionally lengthy) streaks.

Even in the case of rejecting "cosmic process" for either a static block-universe or a block-multiverse, there would still be at least those three degrees of organization (lawful, anomalous, and pattern-less) co-exiting together along the treatment of time as extra spatial dimensions, instead of those structural occurrences being outputted moment by moment via some transcendent algorithm.

Once I was reading an interview of comic book writer Alan Moore about magick in a local newspaper in my living room. Suddenly the paper blackened and ignited into flames at the precise point where I was reading! I was aghast! MAGICK! It took a moment for me to realize that a curved mirror I had on the living room floor had just caught the sunshine to focus it from underneath my glass coffee table onto the paper. That's the sort of little synchronicitous jokes and puns that can happen when you involve yourself in these topics. Coincidence for some. Mischievous trickster magick for others..

“To me, all creativity is magic. Ideas start out in the empty void of your head - and they end up as a material thing, like a book you can hold in your hand. That is the magical process. It's an alchemical thing. Yes, we do get the gold out of it but that's not the most important thing. It's the work itself.”==Alan Moore
