What's more likely is that those who are comparing current history to WWI/WWII Germany are just making the US out to be the next paranoiac's "terrorist".

Paranoiac ?

meaning multiple images ?
or meaning removal of identity to replace with subjectivity ?
or the usurption of reality via producing multiple images in the process of attempting to invoke paranoia ?
or something else ?
the specific meaning seems to be somewhat interpretive

Quote:Description

The aspect of paranoia that Dalí was interested in and which helped inspire the method was the ability of the brain to perceive links between things which rationally are not linked.

Syne, lighten up. I told you one of the most important books "The Anglo-German Problem" is on-line. This is an amazing explanation of what Prussia did after taking control of Germany, and the differences between the Germans to the west, friendly and congenial, and Prussians on the east, sour and dour. This change in nature has happened to the whole of the US, and it happened for military reasons, and perhaps because an elite is working for personal power, not the good of the people. And you can read the account of it happening in Germany right this minute, on- line.

Going to the library to copy documents should be anyone's opportunity. Check to see if you have a library that stores documents. It is fun and it is also a lot of work. I am not motivated to do that work for someone who, for some reason, opposes me personally, rather than questioning the logic or facts of my arguments, and seems determined to make me the bad guy. But if people are sincerely interested, I will do my best and I do expect appreciation for my willingness to do so. If this is just some kind of struggle between the two of us, forget it, I don't desire the pain of a psychological boxing match.

There is soooo much information, it would help if you had specific questions to give my research direction. I think it would help the state of our nation (the US) if there were widespread knowledge of this information, and you can be part of this good thing by telling me what you question.

I didn't begin this research with any agenda but sought of stumbled into it. My grandmother was a first through third-grade teacher when teachers thought they were defending our democracy in the classroom. When she died I started looking for information about what did it mean to defend democracy in the classroom? I bought many old books about education and also books on Germany because I knew we adopted the German model of education for technology and I wanted to know about the people who had this curiosity and pursued science and technology much, much more than the US. Germany was like the Athens of the modern world, and under Prussia became the Sparta of the modern world, while the US was even more like Athens but lacked the drive for science and technology. This is a fascinating story about different people and how history has played out. A love of knowledge might improve your demeanor.

You're the one always lecturing people for being casual.

Yet your claim is in comparison to the modern day US, which that book doesn't cover. Support your claim.

Ah, but if only knowledge were something you were offering. So far, you've only offered opinion, with nothing to support it.

Please, go back to ignoring me, hypocrite.

Sometimes, I wonder if ''terrorism'' is only as scary as we make it to be.

I don't need to fear foreign intruders who mean the US harm, anymore than I should fear walking down the street at 3 AM, hoping to not get attacked by an American. Both scenarios have the ability to instill fear, but we only call foreign intruders ''terrorists.'' Just something I've been thinking about lately, with all the recent news.

Unless you let enough foreigners in. And then you can get a truck driven through a market crowd during Christmas season...like in Berlin.

Very much agree, nothing against immigration, but unbridled immigration is proving disastrous.

Yeah, big difference between open, legal, and illegal immigration. Open and unpoliced illegal immigration are both bad ideas, as much of Europe is finding out.
