The server infrastructure has been exposed to a DDoS attack early last week

has been? Why not 'was'?
Exposed? Does that mean it was not attacked?

and after the hosting company reacted and isolated affected IP's, while doing some routine inspection, they detected some difficulties with public server equipment that had been replaced ASAP.

I take it that the hosting company's reaction was to isolate some affected IP's and then they did a routine inspection of something. This routine inspection detected some difficulties in some equipment that had been replaced rather quickly so they say. Why would they inspect replaced equipment if they had already decided it wasn't any good?

However, we also got informed that some server components got replaced afterward, so it required more time to resolve the issue and the downtime lasted longer than usual.

got used twice same sentence? Maybe were is more appropriate? Replaced afterward...tautology. More time to solve an issue will undoubtedly add to what was originally required ....another tautology.

Now all services are up and running again!

Implemented some new measures.... some old ones are still good? Shutting down is one measure that will prevent this.... be nice to know what this is.... happening in the future...another tautology. Whole sentence sounds very vague and evasive with no real information or explanations.
