100W off-grid solar power system for beginners (Survival Lilly)

I see from the meter that she is getting 55 Watts from the 100W panel - this in strong sunshine. In reality she'll get less as the sun moves round and even then only while the sun is shining. She'll be lucky to run her 100W heater for anything approaching an hour after a day of bright sunshine and hardly at all after a cloudy day.
