concrete pill boxes installedin nova kakhovka im guessing they will put conscripts in them but they wont stand up to a tank round & only 1 shoulder launch rock in the window will kill everyone inside heavy machine gun will go through as well. NOTE recent photos of destroyed cell towers and arials in the occupied region
my suspicion is russia plans to flood the area with conscript orcs where the body count wont be seen
Ukraine can pick them off with artillery if they do
an artillery round landing beside one of those pill boxes is likely to kill anyone inside it

In all,[WW2] some 1.1 million Canadians served in the Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Navy, Royal Canadian Air Force, and in forces across the empire [???? British?], with approximately 42,000 killed and another 55,000 wounded.[3] During the war, Canada was subject to direct attack in the Battle of the St. Lawrence, and in the shelling of a lighthouse at Estevan Point in British Columbia.[4]

The financial cost was $21.8 billion between 1939 and 1950.[5] By the end of the war Canada had the world's fourth largest air force,[6] and third largest navy.[7] The Canadian Merchant Navy completed over 25,000 voyages across the Atlantic,[8] 130,000 Allied pilots were trained in Canada in the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. And lest Canadians forget amidst the shocking food prices (prior to Thanksgiving on November 6th), National Aboriginal Veterans Day is a few days earlier than Remembrance Day (11th), on November 8.

First I’ve heard of the Aboriginal Veterans Day here. Always thought Nov 11 was such a hallowed date worldwide that no one would mess with it.
i expect russia will try and fill the city with Orc conscripts & make a new fable of it being stalingrad
with Kherson filled with conscripts it makes it more likely russia will use a dirty bomb on the city to try and build a no mans land
russia is happy to sacrifice its conscripts
SOo. . . Russia is pulling out all its officials from kherson and moving in new conscripts
they have put in another 10,000 supposedly.
i suspect they will move thousands in once(maybe) they repair the kerch bridge
if russia was going to dirty bomb anything i think it would be kherson north bank of the river.
hopefully with enough recon & prep ukraine can launch some scoot n shoot long range artillery into the concentration points in south of kherson.
need a steady supply of the anti radar missiles from the usa to keep the orc radar systems down to allow drone recon
drone recon is probably one of the most critical aspects of ukraines ability to repress orc advance.
with superior drone recon ability ukraine can use its long range artillery precisely and with devastating effect.
if the only thing the russian people will respect is a massive pile of their own dead young men then thats what it will take to get russia to stop the war.

There have been reports for days that Russia is planning to pull their troops back across the Dnipro river in Kherson oblast. But there's been little confirmation besides ongoing efforts to evacuate civilians from Kherson city. Russian positions still seem to be holding pretty well since the rapid retreat of several weeks ago. The Russians regrouped and seem to be holding their lines.
So my own speculation was they were just clearing civilians out because Ukrainian attacks on the river bridges had made it hard to supply the west side of the river and the Russians needed all the supplies they could get across for their own soldiers, not for feeding civilians.
But new satellite photos provide evidence that the Russians are preparing fairly elaborate defensive positions on the east side of the river. There are trenches and buried concrete bunkers large enough to hold armored vehicles. There seem to be at least three successive defense lines, so that if one is breached, the Ukrainians encounter another. There are canals in this low lying area and the Russians seem to be incorporating them as water obstacles to make vehicle crossings under fire difficult.
And all that does suggest that the Russians do plan to pull back across the Dnipro and then use the river as their primary defense line.
(Edit Looks like Denys beat me to this news in his video in RU's post above.)
