The Singing Ringing Tree

When the wind blows, it sometimes makes music. . .

Although, I was hoping for something more calming, the sound this ''tree'' emits is quite eerie.

Near this area, marks one of the most famous witch trials in English history. After reading about their crimes and punishment, visiting this sculpture could turn into a pretty creepy adventure, especially at night. If you're into that sort of thing.

I love that sculpture. It looks like the artist positioned the tubes to catch the wind from every direction. There's a sense of calming emptiness in the sound--soothing yet slightly melancholy as only the wind can sound.

I can hear that, too. It also sounds like wailing or moaning to me, as if the wind is trying to “tell us” something.
