Generation Gap

Talked to my 86 year old mom couple days ago. Phoned her to see how COVID shot went and if she was feeling any after effects, all good. Somewhere along the line we got talking about one grandkid who changed gender. She summed it up this way and I’m paraphrasing a little bit, “Don’t know anymore, men are calling themselves women, women are saying they’re men. Men are too ugly to be women and women too pretty to be men”.

Loved it, never get away with that in the new order. Just how another generation sees it.

A very profound statement from your mom.
Is there more to it than Girls=Pretty, Boys=Ugly?
Thinks.. surely there must be.
I can imagine that a child might well have no idea of how much freedom they will have as an adult.

Mom could’ve respectively substituted the words ugly & pretty with dumb & smart and been more accurate.

If anything we could be seeing, in the free world at least, the unleashing of female brain power. I have no problem with more intelligence brought to the table, instead of the old reliance on men to make most decisions. Practically an untapped resource for most countries. This can only be a good thing. Should be well past those countries, who continue to oppress half their brainpower, in a generation or two.
