Thousands of Penis-Fish Suddenly Appear on California Beach - Yazata - Dec 12, 2019
It's believed that they are tube-worms, that may have been washed from their tubes by the recent intense storm and ended up on the beach. They live in U-shaped tubes in the mud on the bottom of the ocean and kind of concretize the tubes with secretions from their bodies. They create currents through their tubes by sucking water in their mouths and shitting it out the other end, and feed on whatever plankton or small organisms are sucked in. Predictably, the Koreans eat them. (The Koreans will eat anything.)

The fish pictured is From Russian/Chinese waters, Penis Fish in Canadian waters are at minimum, twice that size. In American waters this fish is practically non existent and found mainly in and around Washington DC.
