Earth Quake statistics & Locations - RainbowUnicorn - Nov 27, 2016 just found this really cool calculator it allows you to calculate the size of an earth quake https://earthquake.usgs.gov/learn/topics/calculator.php how many times bigger is 1 quake from another no mystacism involved in this. my simple premis is that there should be a certain quantifiable level of probable prediction possible with basic movement of the plates. until we get scientific instruments that can measure the torsion, (mass spectroscopy?) and electromagnetic fields and electrical build up at varying depths, (at which point it will be possible to calculate probablility of quakes) to have pre evacuation warnings and probability zones with time references on them. e.g MTC (Mass Torsion Collective) [Density Pressure & Electrical index showing collective data of Tectonic plate, rock, sea, land & generic teranian(sediment etc) electromagnetic levels including, friction, residual electrical charge and density index on a real time fluid display] MTC value 75% Location (plotted map area shoing most likely direction of release for directional shaking/movement and depth calculated by computer) PT (probability Time zone) time in which it is expected to move as a statistical value in real time calculated by all data cross referenced with al known variables. as smaller quakes and movement and varying degrees of planetary cycle, electromagnetic storms and other influencing factors happen it will show a real time value as probability values move up and down dependant on actual scientific data. being a moving living thing the plates are always moving and thus having real time data showing build up and release of cross matched with density levels fault lines, strong points weak points etc... should give a good guide to what can be expected within a time frame of around 60 days(roughly) allowing for secondary systems and public evacuations.... reducing cost of lives massive reduction in loss of business continuity by efectively managing and almost preventing trading interuption. i have been posting selected movements of deep plate quakes on the other thread this thread is created because i did not wish to flood Yazatas thread. please feel free to post or discus things here as you wish. data moved from other thread Got some SERIOUS plate action going on in the pacific in the last 5 hours. hhmmm... all running around 4 to 5 just like they were preceding out 7.8 someones in for a bit of a big one i think. my guess is possibly the leading faces that have not moved yetwest pacific subduction zones we shall see hope it happens off shore somewhere Type: EarthQuake 22 minutes ago Magnitude: 4.7 DateTime: 2016-11-19 17:01:14 Region: 287km SSE of Tabiauan, Philippines Depth: 551.75 Km Source: USGS Feed Type: EarthQuake 4 hours ago Magnitude: 4.4 DateTime: 2016-11-19 12:41:45 Region: 41km WNW of Atka, Alaska Depth: 152.11 Km Source: USGS Feed Type: EarthQuake 4 hours ago Magnitude: 4.1 DateTime: 2016-11-19 12:41:45 Region: 51km NW of Atka, Alaska Depth: 147.7 Km Source: USGS Feed Type: EarthQuake 5 hours ago Magnitude: 4.9 DateTime: 2016-11-19 12:12:49 Region: 203km NE of Ndoi Island, Fiji Depth: 563.31 Km Source: USGS Feed Type: EarthQuake 5 hours ago Magnitude: 5.1 DateTime: 2016-11-19 11:36:26 Region: 211km SSE of Sarangani, Philippines Depth: 106.79 Km Source: USGS Feed Type: EarthQuake 5 hours ago Magnitude: 5.2 DateTime: 2016-11-19 11:36:26 Region: Talaud Islands, Indonesia. I and i do say If the deep 4 to 5 range continue on for a few more days, then i shall start to expect there to be another potential 7 ot higher somewhere possibly toward the south of japan where there has been almost no movement at all shallow or at depth. 24 Nov 2016, 12:28 PM (This post was last modified: 24 Nov 2016, 12:28 PM by RainbowUnicorn.) new behaviour stronger quake and shallower alaska region. previousely the shallow quakes have all been very minor and nothing over a 4 or maybe 3.5 there has been sparadic but consistent deep movement of the between range of 4 to 5 and some smaller running deep also. this signals an intensifying effect at a shallower depth 54 minutes ago 82km WSW of Chernabura Island, Alaska 5.1 33.7 KMs Deep USGS Feed 7 hours ago 41km SE of Semisopochnoi Island, Alaska 5.1 94.2 kms Deep japan is recieving probale aftershocks through the leading face of the western side of the pacific plate join. thats good news. however ... there is renewed deep movement around the western face of the pacific plate of a consistant 4 to 5 range which i will post. 5 hours ago 143km SE of Sarangani, Philippines 4.9 98.2 Kms Deep 7 hours ago Northern Molucca Sea. 5.0 84.0 kms Deep 7 hours ago Northern Molucca Sea. 4.9 60.0 kms Deep and a possible new fault activation in new zealand NZDT Thu, Nov 24 2016, 9:30:24 am Depth 12 km Magnitude 5.4 Location 105 km west of Snares Islands 26 Nov 2016, 01:38 PM (This post was last modified: 26 Nov 2016, 01:41 PM by RainbowUnicorn.) 8 hours ago 157km NW of Pangai, Tonga 4.7 168.3 Kms Deep 9 hours ago 1km NNW of Tecpan Guatemala, Guatemala 4.7 190.0 Kms Deep im supposing most are aware of this one which was relatively shallow M 7.0 - 149km SSW of Puerto El Triunfo, El Salvador Time2016-11-24 18:43:48 (UTC)Location11.960°N 88.835°W Depth10.3 km this is interesting because of the depth being somewhat mid depth and equal intensity of the deeper ones suggests the potential pushing action might still be ongoing. if the deep 4.0 to 5.0 plus range continue (say 2 or 1 deep 4 to 5 every day then in around 2 weeks i would expect something like a 7+ around there unles there are other shallower smaller ones to let out the pressure. these 2 might suggest a different movement seam(or fault) 76km SSW of Puerto El Triunfo, El Salvador 4.4 54.3 Kms Deep USGS Feed 8 hours ago 72km SSW of La Libertad, El Salvador 4.5 64.9 Kms Deep USGS Feed 26 Nov 2016, 03:34 PM 100 minutes ago 160km NE of Ndoi Island, Fiji 4.4 571.2 Kms Deep USGS Feed 36 minutes ago South of the Fiji Islands 4.6 478.2 Kms Deep USGS Feed 26 Nov 2016, 04:40 PM 56 minutes ago Central Mid-Atlantic Ridge 5.0 10.0 USGS Feed 27 Nov 2016, 10:58 AM (This post was last modified: 27 Nov 2016, 11:06 AM by RainbowUnicorn.) 83 minutes ago 4km WSW of Pasaco, Guatemala 4.8 105.1Kms Deep USGS Feed 8 hours ago 130km SW of Leksula, Indonesia 4.2 447.3 Kms Deep USGS Feed this is interesting because there is very little activity in this region http://quakes.globalincidentmap.com 9 hours ago Magnitude: 4.8 DateTime: 2016-11-26 06:40:22 Region: 128km SW of Chichi-shima, Japan Depth: 89.97 Source: USGS Feed different feed https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes M 4.8 - 128km SW of Chichi-shima, Japan Time 2016-11-26 12:40:22 (UTC) Location 26.378°N 141.189°E Depth 90.0 km 27 Nov 2016, 12:31 PM (This post was last modified: 27 Nov 2016, 12:36 PM by RainbowUnicorn.) 3 hours ago 2km SE of Maripi, Colombia 4.3 126.0 Kms Deep USGS Feed 2 hours ago 5km E of Zonda, Argentina 4.6 105.2 Kms Deep USGS Feed ==================== ==================== Original quake thread By Yazata M 4.9 - 287km SE of Lambasa, Fiji Time 2016-11-27 06:49:33 (UTC) Location 17.960°S 178.440°W Depth 593.8 km RE: Earth Quake Prediction(statistical) & Location - RainbowUnicorn - Nov 27, 2016 M 4.7 - 98km NNW of Isangel, Vanuatu Time 2016-11-27 20:13:01 (UTC) Location 18.704°S 168.980°E Depth 161.1 km more movement DEEP in Vanuatu M 4.8 - 86km NNW of Isangel, Vanuatu Time2016-11-27 22:36:59 (UTC) Location 18.794°S 169.064°E Depth 158.7 km smaller but still consistant movement on the northern pacific plate boundary M 1.9 - 83km WSW of Cantwell, Alaska Time 2016-11-27 13:18:32 (UTC) Location 63.168°N 150.548°W Depth 115.2 km RE: Earth Quake Prediction(statistical) & Location - RainbowUnicorn - Nov 28, 2016 this is what i call an indicator quake, which is why i am listing it as it is fairly big and un common for this area. it is not very deep but usually signifies movement accross the plate.
