VIDEO EXCERPTS: Today I want to bring you the news from Europe, but especially I want to discuss the blackout in Spain.
Now I'm a little bit late on this topic, because I wanted to wait a little bit. I did not want to spread misinformation. At the beginning of this blackout there was a lot of misinformation and false interpretations.
When this blackout happened in Spain, immediately first they were saying: "Oh it's a cyber attack, it's a cyber attack, we got attacked." That turned out not to be true.
[...] It will take weeks and months to elaborate why the blackout happened. So if there's another blackout in future, and they tell you anything in the first hours, it's probably not true.
[...] I think this blackout was maybe a wake-up call for a lot of people who are unprepared. ... In the main cities here in Austria they were writing a lot of articles how can we prepare better for a blackout [...] and that's a good thing...
