IOW, this is a science outlet that's rated as lacking significant bias -- apart from being Pro-Science -- but is still putting negative spins on stuff Musk is associated with (even the arguably trivial kind). ..... INTRO: These days, it feels like everyone's trying to figure out how long Elon Musk and Donald Trump's new bromance could possibly last. The latest datapoint, make of it what you will. The president-elect is already disregarding some of Musk's suggestions.

I get the impression Trump is getting tired of Musk hanging around. Imagine that. He said in a speech jokingly, "I can't get rid of him!" I wish Musk would go back to spending his time inventing new technologies that can radically improve the human race. A way to effectively deflect large asteroids from earth would be nice.
