Frequently when I post a reply the only thing that shows up is the quoted post. Then I have to go to edit and retype the whole post. Am I doin something wrong? What could be causing this?

Am I doin something wrong? What could be causing this? Wish I had clicked reply when I first saw that to see if the message was actually there but made hidden by spurious code tags or something. But I thought it might be a problem on my end because I hadn't turned javascript back on (still using that JS-kill switch when I zip over to problem sites for a few minutes and back).

Testing now to see if it happens again.. Yes..it happened again. Where do I go to check for Java? I don't know if I even have that program.

If you've never tinkered with your browser settings, then it should be on by default. Javascript shouldn't really be the culprit, since as aforementioned I absent-mindedly post with it off sometimes (without that happening). I just jumped to that conclusion without thinking when I saw one of your missing messages (as a problem on my side rather than yours).

I'll try to debug any problems if they are server side. I'm not entirely sure what could cause a problem, the software used does use Javascript to handle the editor box for replying to threads and also the quotations, so I'll have to work out how to replicate the problem. What browser are you using MR?

Actually might not be your browser, the site does attempt to use "Cloudflare" (or at least it was set so at one point), so it's possible that it causing certain browsers to not trust any IP changes. I'll have to investigate further however to see if that is the case.
Incidentally Cloudflare just attempts to cache certain files that are regularly used like the Javascript ones etc, so it's suppose to reduce server loads. Edit: I've just switch Cloudflare to development mode, so within the next 10-15 minutes it should react as it would without Cloudflare on, see if there is any difference.

Are you suggesting that while you attempt to reply to a post, you have a reply quote in the editor, you add to it and then post it, however when it appears in the forum only the quote shows and nothing you've written so you have to edit the post to put what you originally typed in there? If that's the case then it's likely not Cloudflare. In fact it sounds like a really weird bug. I don't really know what would cause that problem. It doesn't mean I won't stop trying to work out the problem, just a little stumped. I'd suggest (if you are willing) to try another browser to see if the effect occurs in a different browser to, the main alternatives currently are Firefox and Chrome
