Clip from Charlie Chaplin's 1957 politically satirical comedy starring himself and his own son. The film was banned in America until 1972.

Understandably, he had a grudge due to exile. Chaplin grew up in poverty and oppressed circumstances. But the bottom line is that his father was a performer who became a self-destructive alcoholic, and his mother became insane from syphilis. (Contracted from either her estranged, prostitute-obssessed husband or another individual during their long-term separation.)
