As of October 10, 2025, a federal appeals court appears likely to rule in Donald Trump's favor concerning the deployment of the National Guard to Portland, Oregon, based on comments made during a recent hearing. While no final decision has been issued, a three-judge panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals indicated skepticism toward a lower court's temporary order that had blocked the deployment.

Antifa also recruits both nationally and internationally to join its organization, as it is a “group closed to members only.”

“How much more official do you get than that?” ... “They have membership, attendance is closed to anyone who is not an official member, and they have a verification process to confirm the identity of the member. It’s like a country club for a**holes.”

According to Antifa International, “In a lot of ways, antifa are more organized than ever before, and we’re seeing cross-border collaboration with projects like this Tumblr, the International Anti-Fascist Defence Fund, the International Day of Solidarity with Anti-Fascist Prisoners, etc.”

- Everything Donald Trump says about Antifa is not only RIGHT, it's LONG OVERDUE

Google AI:
"Antifa is a decentralized anti-fascist movement, not a single organization with a formal recruiting process. There is no central leadership, official membership, or coordinated recruitment effort. Instead, individuals and small, independent groups who identify with the anti-fascist ideology and tactics come together to oppose what they see as far-right, fascist, and white supremacist movements."
Notice all the hedge words. Decentralized, formal, central, official, coordinated.

Groups that come together under the same ideology, as a movement with organization, recruiting, leadership, and membership, are organizations. No matter how much you try to hedge.
The definition was pretty clear:

"Antifa is a decentralized anti-fascist movement, not a single organization with a formal recruiting process. There is no central leadership, official membership, or coordinated recruitment effort. Instead, individuals and small, independent groups who identify with the anti-fascist ideology and tactics come together to oppose what they see as far-right, fascist, and white supremacist movements."

Asserting the contrary is not an argument.
