The woman who had to sleep her way into politics has a campaign so bankrupt for ideas that she's stealing policies from Trump, even when they contradict everything she's ever done.

No taxes on tips - she stole this one to pander to the service industry in Las Vegas, even though:

The Biden administration announced a new program to “improve tip reporting compliance” to the IRS more than a year before Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign promised to eliminate tip taxes.

The IRS and Treasury departments introduced a new tip reporting program last year called the Service Industry Tip Compliance Agreement (SITCA) program. The stated goal of the program is to “improve tip reporting compliance.”

Increase border patrol and secure the border - even though she, as Biden's appointed lead on the border, oversaw every policy that caused record illegal border crossings, fentanyl smuggling and subsequent overdose deaths, human trafficking, etc..

Apparently the propaganda industry is trying to treat her as if she is somebody new and unknown, and are trying to repackage her as a moderate, in a form more appealing to voters than what she really is. But she already has a history and already has endless video clips of her saying extremely radical things on pretty much every subject.

Right. If the open border has exploded into a huge issue with the voters such that her handlers have her promising to get tough with the border, where was she the last 3 1/2 years?? And there's still three months until the election. Does anyone in their right mind expect her to get tough on the border before the election?? She is the vice president after all, and Biden's border czar. Even if Biden wouldn't agree about getting tough, she's out of his shadow now. She could publicly demand that he issue the necessary executive orders. Distance herself from him a little bit.

But don't hold your breath waiting... it's never going to happen. Kamala's talking tough about the border is just an act and it will disappear on election day, whether she wins or loses. In real life, she's more of an advocate for an open border than Biden is.
I agree with Ben Shapiro. He says that the only reason Biden is still in office is so they can pin everything on the dead guy. For the low-information voters, that will very likely work. And we'd expect to get the same thing we got with Biden. Run more moderate and swing wildly left once in office.

We're lucky to have people like Musk around and politically active this time. Otherwise, I'd be apt to agree with CC's pessimism.

Only racist white people worry about the brown people crossing the border. It doesn't bother me in the least. Come to America! We have plenty of room and jobs!

"Filling labor shortages
Immigrants can help fill labor shortages by increasing the number of available workers. This can help companies fill jobs, which can lead to more economic growth and job openings.

Increasing productivity and innovation
Immigrants can bring different skills and demographic profiles to the workforce, which can complement the native-born majority and increase productivity and innovation.

Driving up wages
Immigrants can help drive up wages for everyone, including natives, through increased demand and competition.

Increasing GDP
Immigrants account for 17% of the U.S. GDP, which is $3.3 trillion. They are also more likely to be working age, productive, and entrepreneurial, which can lead to higher GDP per capita.

Adding value as taxpayers, consumers, and entrepreneurs
Immigrants can contribute to the economy as taxpayers, consumers, and entrepreneurs. For example, in 2019, immigrants in Greater Salem paid over $200 million in taxes and had over $536 million in spending power."
You're just conflating illegal aliens with legitimate immigrants. They are different, and Republicans have no problem with people who enter this country the right way.

Proof MSM is just propaganda for Democrats.

Nope...illegal immigrants too.

"Undocumented immigrants can contribute to the U.S. economy in a number of ways, including as workers, taxpayers, consumers, and entrepreneurs:

Taxes
In 2022, undocumented immigrants in Georgia paid over $1 billion in taxes. The IRS issues Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINs) to ensure that undocumented immigrants pay taxes.

Jobs
Immigrants can help fill labor shortages in certain industries and areas. For example, a University of Wisconsin study estimates that 70% of workers who milk cows in Wisconsin are undocumented immigrants. Undocumented workers also make up 19% of maintenance workers.

GDP
According to a Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report, immigrant workers can boost the U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by 2% and add $7 trillion to the economy over the next decade.

Innovation
Immigrants can help fuel local economies by driving up wages and sparking innovation. The effects of a migrant influx can last for decades, making a region more attractive to foreign investors and opening up long-term export opportunities."

There's no guarantee that an illegal is paying taxes, no matter if you issue ITINs or not. Hence the hedging language of "can contribute" rather than "do contribute."
If not for illegals, unskilled poor Americans could fill those jobs. The only reason they don't is because the welfare you like so much is available.
You GDP and innovation stats go right back to saying "immigrants" and "immigrant works" rather then undocumented, illegal, etc.. Still conflating the two.
