For some odd reason The Holocaust is evidently uniquely deserving of constantly churned out, like a veritable sausage-machine, cinematic and TV dramas, docudramas, or otherwise inserted as powerfully poignant references in virtually all ostensibly non-holocaust related cinema/TV. Instead of doing the usual thing and fading with time (let's at long last move on a bit folks), it keeps ramping up and up and up!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Holocaust_films Can anyone remember the last (or maybe first ever) single equivalent Hollywood production relating to the tens of millions slaughtered under Communist rule, particularly in the USSR? I wonder why such a massive disparity is maintained with such relentless vigor by the Hollywood movers and shakers? Were the non-Communist victims of Lenin's/Trotsky's/Yagoda's/Stalin's etc. etc. willing executioners somehow infinitely less worthy of commemoration? Apparently so. But why? But NO - to even ask such a question immediately invites being labeled anti....you-know-what. And/or neo..you-know-what. And immediately suspect as a white supremacist hater in general. Moral - never question such massive disparity. Never!
The iron curtain, secrecy ,lies, e.g., the Katyn Massacre was blamed on the Germans. As for soviet film makers, I don't know, maybe this.
