Cool that now the families of school shooting victims can now sue gun manufacturers.   Could it be that we will start to see gun manufacturers start to care about how their products are misused?  Would be great to see.  (And it will be fun to see the gun nuts clutch their Bibles and cry about the end of the world as we know it.)

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. That ruling only applies to Remington (not all gun manufacturers) and only because of how they advertised their guns...so not even vaguely applicable to other manufacturers. And that was only denying Remington's appeal to stop the lawsuit. So even if they lose, they can still appeal the verdict, and that may be one reason SCOTUS denied the appeal...because they want to make a broad ruling on the verdict instead of a narrow ruling on bringing that specific suit. Curtailing the advertisement of guns raises serious First and Second Amendment issues. But even in the worst case, it only means that other manufacturers can't advertise how Remington did.

Either way, it doesn't open the door to suits from any victims of gun violence, like leftist wet dreams would have people believe.

Educate yourself....or keep sounding like an ignorant leftist. Your call.

No, it really isn't. It's misdirected anger. And it may have ramifications... because we all know how lawyers will use and abuse precedent, once established.

Yeah, it would. But what else would we see?
The Slippery slope is not necessarily a bad argument - particularly where the law and how it might be (mis)used comes into play.

(And it will be fun to see the gun nuts clutch their Bibles and cry about the end of the world as we know it.)
A somewhat familiar sentiment, is it not? Say, something a school shooter might write in his diary before going on his final spree?
Make them pay. What is it, exactly, that separates you from them?
