He's a Netherlands astronaut who was on the International Space Station. He says he dialed '9' to get an outside line, then tried to dial '011' for an international call, but accidentally left off the initial '0'. It reportedly caused consternation in Houston where security people rushed to the control room.
Our astronaut says that he's a little disappointed that police didn't respond up there with lights flashing.
Apparently it's easy to make phone calls from the Space Station, and there have been wrong-numbers before, with astronauts asking 'Hello, is this planet Earth?' and the people who answered hanging up on them.
