The Things That Can or Can't be Avoided

SS... nothing's changed. We just became our parents, that's all.

I was young guy when mini skirts were the rage and when girls started to wear blue jeans(it wasn't that long ago). I remember friends talking about how unsexy the gals looked in their Levis. Today I don't think you can find too many guys who still think that way.

If I knew then what I know now I would have bought shares in Levi Strauss. I don't give out too much investment advice but I try and focus on what's trendy. Whether it's commodities, service, gadgetry or fashion, get in early and get out early, don't be greedy, set your numbers and stick with them.

Trouble is, for the most part, the adult world has more to worry about than what's trendy. Sure there are exceptions but like I told my kids , 'when you get out of high school/university.... then get out completely, don't go back.' I enjoy being an adult, even more so than being a kid. I know more and I'm definitely having more fun. I don't pay attention to my appearance like i did when younger. Health would be the reason I stay in shape, not to attract the opposite sex. Priorities change.

Pretty? How's this for a bad pun ....... Pretty hard to avoid

There's a youtube of her face being photoshopped (sorry no time to find it again) - as they did it it it was like watching a fire going out.

When I look at tattoos, piercings, face lifts, bad Botox (is there a good one) I personally don't see anything attractive and in fact, i scratch my head wondering why someone very pretty would go to such lengths to have these procedures done. To be trendy maybe?  I think people obsess over what's fashionable, avant grade or pissing off their parents or their parent's generation....to be a revolutionary?. I did it when I was young. New trendy ideas but in essence nothing really changes* and I guess there's no way to avoid it.

i am waiting to see if the botox thing has some type of long term neuralogical damage.
i would not be surprised if regular botox brings on early dementia etc.
maybe neuralogical disorders or such like.
the over all absorbtion of the bacteria into the system must somehow effect the system and with it mostly being in the face, that is as close to the brain as you can get.
(i hope it doesnt)
The pathology of life & human's, Viruses & Bacteria etc...suggests things will evolve.
how is the question.
super bugs ?

if people want to drive fast on a race track and kill themselves, fine
if people want to inject themselves with god-only-knows what nerve agents and kil themselves fine

im a(non anti regulation) liberal so its their choice.

the bullshit in people then trying to sue companys saying "you said it was safe" is like trying to sue car companys for all road accidents.
